I Needed Some Inspiration!

It's September and the leaves will be turning colors in the next few weeks. The children are back in school and our tans, if we have them and they aren't sprayed on, are fading. It's one of my favorite times of the year, with crackling leaves on the ground, bright orange pumpkins, apple cider, and cool autumn nights in abundance. However, I'm experiencing a writer's block and can't think of a blog topic for September. Today, I decided to browse the internet for some ideas. Alas, I didn't have any luck finding a topic but I did find something that helps me endure my empty topic list.
There are 25 Cover Cafe committee members voting on covers throughout the year. Some of us love having a sexy man, with a naked chest or chiseled back exposed on the cover, and some of us would rather not have a half naked male on our covers. The committee represents a cross section of romance readers and we seldom agree 100% on any cover or cover topic. It is what makes volunteering on the committee so interesting.
For myself, I love good looking men on romance covers unless they are in a stupid awkward pose and/or totally naked. I like a toned, not ripped, body and you can't beat a man in a good pair of jeans or a vampire's garb with just a little exposed skin. Since I don't have any issues right now to vent towards publishers, I'm posting a few of the current or future covers I think capture "sexy". Most covers are from 2010 but there are one or two which will be published in early 2011. Enjoy!
First, there are the chiseled toned torsos...it doesn't hurt that they are handsome, too.

Publisher information available on mouse-over.

Then we have the more sedately dressed heroes.....love those jeans!

So my fellow romance reader, are you a toned torso aficionado or a blue jeans fanatic? If you love a different mode of attire for your favorite hero - do tell. Until next time!
